Rate:  $30 - $40 per hour, plus $120 per overnight

Schedule: 5-day work week (Live-In / live-out). Days To Be Determined. Must be flexible to work weekends. 

Hours: 40 - 50 hours guaranteed

About the Role:
A private family in New York City is seeking a dedicated and flexible Housekeeper with Limited Childcare Responsibilities to join their household. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional housekeeping and feel comfortable assisting with childcare for their two young children, ages 4 and 3. This role requires flexibility with scheduling and the ability to travel internationally if needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Housekeeping:
   • Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of the home, ensuring all areas are spotless and organized.
   • Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
   • Maintain the kitchen, including cleaning appliances, counters, and storage areas.
   • Assist with household organization and inventory management.
2. Childcare (Limited):
   • Provide occasional support with childcare, including supervision and engaging with the children as needed.
   • Assist with meal preparation, bedtime routines, or other tasks as requested by the parents.
   • Collaborate with parents to maintain routines and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
3. Flexibility & Travel:
   • Adapt to the family’s needs with the ability to work late or stay overnight when required.
   • Travel domestically or internationally with the family as needed, ensuring household and childcare support.
4. Team Collaboration:
   • Work seamlessly with other household staff or caregivers to ensure smooth household operations.
   • Communicate effectively with the parents to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional housekeeping experience.
• Experience working with young children in a professional or personal capacity.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel requirements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally.
• Valid US Work Authorization
