About the Job
ASC is currently seeking to hire an Infection Control Coordinator for our Pembroke Pines campus. The Infection Control Coordinator performs housekeeping and janitorial tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the houses.
Duties include but are not limited to:

- Complete the daily housekeeping checklist and place it in the housekeeping binder.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and/or mopping all floors (sanitizing mop heads weekly)
- Regularly cleaning and/or dusting all furniture, pictures, baseboards, wheelchair guards, windowsills, walls, etc., including activity rooms
- Washing walls, woodwork, windows (interior and exterior), door panels, and window sills
- Cleaning air conditioning vents and fans
- Dust, clean and sanitize the sensory room and all items inside
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies
- Ensures that adequate and appropriate materials and supplies are available in all areas (bedrooms, kitchens, and restrooms (e.g., paper towels, napkins, toilet tissue, soap, resident needs, etc.)
- Follows the direction set by the Program Manager to remain in accordance with AHCA regulations
- Assists with maintaining a safe environment for the residents
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Must pass a Level II Background, Drug screening, Physical and PPD
