Summary: Housekeepers provide any combination of cleaning services to ensure hotel guest rooms and public spaces are kept clean and orderly and meet excellence in resort performance standards. Housekeepers embody a spirit of hospitality and service to our guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Professionally greets guests and provides clean and fresh rooms, suites, and public areas in a timely manner that provides a pleasant and relaxed experience, focusing on exceptional quality. The following duties are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Performs all the essential duties and responsibilities, pursuing continuous improvements.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and emergency policies and protocols.
- Maintains housekeeping services through consistent quality standards.
- Responds to guests in a friendly and efficient manner, following up to ensure satisfaction.
- Pays meticulous attention to detail when cleaning the set number of rooms and areas assigned.
- Washes, polishes, dusts, vacuums, sweeps, mops, and sanitizes all fixtures and surface areas of bedrooms, bathrooms (toilets, sinks, tubs, mirrors, glass, and shower stalls), kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, and public spaces; this includes making beds with clean, fresh linens, towels, and toiletries and emptying trash and laundry.
- Provides deep cleaning of rooms: washing windows, blinds, walls, and curtains as needed.
- Provides extra linens, blankets, pillows, and other items upon guest requests.
- Stock and maintain transport carts, storage areas, and equipment.
- Remove room service dishes, debris, food, glasses, and utensils.
- Operates with a sense of urgency and discipline.
- Manage all business resources and expenses responsibly to maximize housekeeping revenues.
Other Requirements:
- Abides by Company Employee Handbook policies and procedures.
- Maintain a minimum of 6 months of satisfactory performance before planned vacation weeks.
- Maintain a minimum of 12 months of satisfactory job performance prior to department transfers, which are at the discretion of department managers and based on business demands.
- Immediately reports tardy arrivals and shift absences from work to director and supervisors.
- Obeys policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
- Attend and participate in all employee trainings, meetings, and seminars.
- Reports lost and found items, assisting in the return to guest services.
- Reports breakage of assets or maintenance requirements to supervisor.
- Complies with company dress code in a neat and professional appearance with name tags.
High School Graduate or General Education Diploma.
6- months of related work experience preferred.

- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have maturity in judgment.
- Follow all instructions and directives of The Executive Director of Housekeeping.
