About the Job
Position: Household Manager & Executive Personal Assistant to a Visionary Leader
We’re searching for a talented Household Manager & Personal Assistant to support an influential artist, philanthropist, and visionary behind Black Cube Art. Laura’s creativity and passion drive everything she does, from her art, her charitable efforts and her home and family. This role offers the chance to work closely with Laura, assisting her in both personal and professional capacities while overseeing the management of two private estates—one in Denver, Colorado, and another in California.
If you love balancing the art of estate management with the demands of high-level executive support and are inspired by working with a humanitarian and inspiring creative leader, this could be your perfect fit!
What You’ll Do:
Executive/Personal Support:
- Be the right hand to a creative visionary: managing emails, schedules, and correspondence with precision.
- Coordinate social engagements, events, and public appearances—ensuring every detail is handled seamlessly.
- Organize meetings and complex travel arrangements, with a focus on excellence.
- Take care of personal shopping, errands, and daily to-dos to help maintain balance and focus.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role—trust is key.
Household Management:
- Oversee the operations of two estates, leading household staff and vendors to deliver exceptional service.
- Anticipate and fulfill personal, household, and property needs before they’re even requested.
- Plan and execute private events (from intimate gatherings to large celebrations) with impeccable attention to detail.
- Ensure both homes exude warmth, beauty, and sophistication—welcoming guests with a refined ambiance.
- Oversee any renovation or home improvement projects, ensuring everything aligns with Laura’s vision.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 5 years of experience in private family service or a similar role, where you’ve demonstrated an ability to juggle it all.
- Experience supporting high-profile individuals with discretion, professionalism, and grace.
- A proven ability to manage complex schedules, events, and homes.
- Stellar organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient in Apple/MacOS, Microsoft Office, and comfortable learning new systems.
- Flexibility to travel locally (20%-25%) and out-of-state (25%-30%) as needed, with occasional evenings and weekends.
- A bachelor’s degree is a plus, but experience and a proactive attitude matter most.
- A spotless driving record and your own reliable vehicle.
Why This Role?
- Impact: You’ll be working closely with a passionate, philanthropic leader who is making a real difference in the world. You’ll help her manage her life so she can focus on what matters most—art, philanthropy, and launching an impactful nonprofit.
- Creativity: No two days are alike. From managing luxurious estates to assisting with art projects and charity events, you’ll never be bored!
- Flexibility & Growth: You’ll be encouraged to grow and evolve within this dynamic environment, bringing your own creativity and expertise to the table.
Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience, along with superior medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous vacation, and holiday allowances, and a robust 401(k) plan.
