We are seeking customer service focused hotel valet attendants for Atlantic Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We provide first-class parking services and seek friendly, outgoing individuals with a desire to create a guest experience that exceeds the guest's expectations. $17.00 - $20.00 hourly rate includes base and tips combined.
Duties:
- Drive vehicles to and from the valet drop off area in a timely manner, parking them safely in the parking area and securing the vehicle
- Greet customers in a friendly and positive manner
- Maintain valet area appearance for safety and cleanliness
- Ensure parking areas are orderly
- Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars organized
- Maintain professional appearance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be friendly with guests and other employees
- Candidate must be able to drive a stick shift vehicle
- Customer service experience for a year or more
