Our newly renovated Casual Dining Restaurant is located within our top Nationally recognized Hotel Brand. Responsible for developing menus, specifying product standards, controlling and maintaining food inventories, and assuring smooth and safe operations. This role reports directly to the Executive Chef and will manage and adhere to all aspects of the culinary budget. Job Description: The Sous Chef works closely with the Restaurant General Manager and supports the Executive Chef in managing the entire kitchen operations for the restaurant including daily service, holiday menus, group functions, and special events. The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting with the management of day-to-day operations of the culinary department, upholding service standards, and helping to meet and exceed profit goals. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for ordering, receiving, and properly handling products, developing new menu ideas, meeting with clients when appropriate, training staff, and ensuring that all products represent our high standards.

Qualifications:
- The Sous Chef must have a minimum of 3 years of related culinary experience in a high-volume atmosphere.
- The Sous Chef must have experience in inventory/cost controls, fiscal planning, and knowledge of profit and loss reporting.
- The Sous Chef must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- It is preferred that the Sous Chef have experience with banquets as well as a la carte service.
- The Sous Chef should have open availability and be always available for the operations.
- The Sous Chef must have a passion for developing and training staff.
