**Job Summary:**
As a Hotel Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee daily front desk operations and lead a team of front desk agents to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, resolving issues, and maintaining front desk protocols. This leadership role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, providing a warm and professional first impression.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of guest registrations, room assignments, and billing.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address issues, and foster teamwork.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
- Manage room availability and inventory, optimizing occupancy and revenue.
- Handle cash, credit, and other transactions with accuracy, following all financial policies and procedures.
- Support the Front Desk Manager in creating staff schedules, performance evaluations, and staff development plans.
- Demonstrate a commitment to exemplary customer service and promote a positive work environment.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in a hotel front desk position, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations, hotel management software, and point-of-sale systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a guest-centered mindset
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
