The Hospitality Manager is the heartbeat of member services, merging responsibilities into one dynamic role. This position will work directly with the GM to manage all aspects of club operations. This position is a key leadership role at our health club responsible for managing exceptional guest experience overseeing all guest touchpoints including check-in and check-out, club appearance, housekeeping, member engagement and the quality of public areas. This position requires a detail-oriented, guest-focused professional who can seamlessly manage operations, enhance service standards, and collaborate effectively with all departments to create memorable guest experiences. We are looking for candidates that have relevant hotel experience in Front desk Operations or similar positions.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure employees are provided with the necessary structure, motivation, and training to satisfy their needs and achieve organizational goals
- Interview, select, train and onboard new staff. Ensure that all new hires are given the proper onboarding experience
- Optimize staffing levels based on seasonality and demand. Ensure staffing levels are adequate and shift scheduling is efficient.
- Maintain associate files, ensuring all documents are current (including job descriptions and version of handbook)
- Manage daily work assignments of Concierge Team
- Ensure consistent implementation and review of SOPs throughout all Departments
- Attend and/or Conduct required meetings (ex: Daily Huddle, weekly staff) to ensure proper communication and coordination of mutual goals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members, ensuring that every interaction is warm, welcoming, and exceeds expectations. Engage with members throughout their stay, gather feedback, and implement changes to continuously improve the guest experience. Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages member loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with club programming, events, pricing, and policies to appropriately educate all members and guests.
- Assist members with account maintenance, processing member needs, changes and transactions including program, service, and product payments
- Conducts daily inspections of club to ensure housekeeping is meeting/exceeding cleanliness standards
- Evaluate guest complaints and ensures corrective action is taken
- Hosts social events/receptions as required by the Brand and/or Ownership
- Play active role in community through affiliation with various community organizations to promote and maintain positive image for club
- Take the lead with the Marketing and management team to develop and implement unique club promotions and member experiences that enhance the overall.
- Monitor and manage inventory and pars
- Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures
- Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner
- Function as a brand ambassador inside and outside of the gym
- Assists General Manager in reporting and other administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an operations Manager or Front Office Supervisor in similar type & size hotel preferred
- 2 years additional management experience (of which 1 year is in hotels)
- Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided)
- The ability to excel in a high-demand environment and a genuine passion for hospitality are essential.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
- Able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, and bend for the duration of a shift
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Driving: Occasionally
Compensation Package: Base + Bonus= $50,000-65,000
