Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the annual budget for the company, ensuring that all financial goals are met and that resources are allocated appropriately.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial health of the company.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring that all financial reports are completed on time and that all necessary adjustments are made.
- Work closely with external auditors to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and to provide support during the audit process.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure that all financial transactions are conducted in a transparent and ethical manner.
- Provide financial analysis and support to other departments within the company, including sales, marketing, and operations.
- Manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that all financial operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experienced financial management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial statement preparation, and general ledger maintenance.
- Experience leading the month-end close process and working with external auditors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage a team of financial professionals and provide guidance and support as needed.
