About the Job
CoBridge Workforce Solutions is actively seeking a permanent contract Registered Dietitian on behalf of our industry partner, Two Tree Nutrition. In this role, the licensed registered dietitian nutritionist (LRDN) will meet the state Department of Health mandate requirements for nutritional counsel at the communities.
The dietitian will review and document in resident charts as needed to provide nutritional guidance to improve health and well-being. Support will be provided to individuals, families, and health care providers, while also hosting nutrition education seminars to families and residents as needed.
This role will have a focus on culinary nutrition – recognizing the culinary cultural diversity of the residents with the goal of providing nourishing, delicious meals. The LRDN will review culinary techniques with chefs to maximize flavor while keeping within dietary requirements and accommodating allergy concerns.
Responsibilities
In addition to diet/charting and nutritional review, The LRDN will assist in improving resident experience by providing operational guidance on:
• Dining room resident experience
• Meal service levels
• Menu compliance
• Sanitation
• Food/equipment handling/storage
• Food preparation practices
• Facility upkeep
• Cost controls
Requirements
• Dietitian must, without exception, be current with all required certifications, insurance, and licensure for the jurisdiction. All candidates will be validated.
• Must have an interest in food beyond the clinical, a culinarian.
• Ability to work well with a wide range of personalities and cultures.
• Communicate clearly; compose meaningful, concise summaries.
• General tech conversancy, ability to learn proprietary auditing software.
• Responsibility, timeliness, reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work safely in environments with kitchen-related hazards.
Contractor Salary
• $40/hour, flexible based on experience and market.
