Hospitalist Physician at Your Central Valley

Good afternoon.

I have an opportunity for a hospitalist in a rural area of central California. It is about 1.5 hours from both San Jose and Oakland, and 30 miles from Stockton. This is in a 35 bed, low volume Critical Access Hospital where procedures are required. Once you accept a job and are credentialed in this facility, you will be a preferred provider for call backs.

Details:

1. Dates: June 3-6 (Saturday-Tuesday) + Orientation the day before for providers that are first time in facility.
2. Approximate Census: 10 patients daily.
3. Qualifications: Must be BE/BC; new graduates are welcome.
4. Required Procedures: Central lines, intubations, vent management, and critical care management.
5. Certifications: NIH certification is required.
6. Licensing: You must have an active CA license and clean background.
7. Shifts: 24 hours on site (12+ hour hospital shift + night call); night rounding required before turning in.
8. Compensation: Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered. Meals covered on site.
9. EMR: The EMR is Meditech.
