• Kirkland Campus: 157-bed standalone psychiatric hospital offering a full continuum of care

• Everett Campus: 30-bed adult psychiatric facility in Everett at Providence Medical Center s Pacific Campus

• Monroe Campus: 34-bed facility located at Evergreen Health in Monroe.

Details

• Manageable and Sustainable Caseload: Average of 15 patients per day.

• Flexible Schedule: Generally, Monday-Friday, day shifts

• Work-Life Balance: Occasional once monthly weekend rounding and once per week evening call coverage by phone only.

Primary Duties

• Conduct medical assessments, initial H&Ps within 24 hours of admission, follow-ups, and patient discharges

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both mental health and medical issues

• Participate in treatment team meetings to contribute insights into the patient's medical condition(s), discuss treatment options, and ensure that the overall care plan is comprehensive and cohesive

• Co-manage patients with complex medical comorbidities during their length of stay, alongside Psychiatrists, other mental health providers, and support staff

• Provide medical education to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications that may impact overall health

• Provide medical consults as needed in the General Adult units, Mission Resiliency Program (military, veterans, etc.), and Detox/SUD units.

Benefits and Compensation

• Salary range: $270,000-$310,00

• 5 CME days + reimbursable expenses

• Full-time, employed W-2 position.

Required Education, Experience, Licensure, & Certifications

1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
2. BE/BC in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM).
3. Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Washington.
4. Experience or interest in behavioral health and psychiatry is a plus.
