Hospitalist Physician Assistant - Sound Physicians

To prospective teammates,

I'm the Regional Medical Director for Meadows Regional in Vidalia, Georgia. I have been a part of Sound Physicians for two years. I'm proud of the practice we have built and welcome interest from physicians and advanced practitioners coming out of training or desiring a career change. I'd like to share more about it, specifically about our people, practice, and purpose, as you consider options:

• We are a closely knit, established team of six physicians and two advanced practitioners (APPs), with the support of one clinical performance nurse.
• Vidalia is quite a little town best known for its Vidalia Onions, and much of the city is composed of farms producing various fruits and vegetables. If you desire a quiet town with lots of open space, Vidalia is the perfect location.
• We enjoy spending time with our families enjoying the outdoors. The weather is fantastic and affords year-round outdoor activities for our families.

• We have two physician rounders and one APP rounding on patients at a 56-bed hospital.
• APPs operate during day shifts, engaging in patient rounding with about 12 patients per shift.
• Our physicians also cover an open eight-bed ICU with tele-intensivist backup day and night.
• A flexible schedule is available, and we cover for each other when we're out.
