Hospitalist Nocturnist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - Southwest of Houston - Integrative Emergency Services

IES, Integrative Emergency Services, is hiring one experienced Nocturnist Hospitalist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our established group at St. Lukes Brazosport Hospital, less than an hour from Houston.   

St. Lukes Brazosport Hospital is located on a beautiful, 25-acre campus in Lake Jackson, Texas. Offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and comprehensive treatment services, this hospital is home to a 154-bed patient tower, advanced cardiac care center, and full-service, multidisciplinary cancer center.

Hospitalist Service

• Encounters per Day: 45-55 (including admissions)
• Admissions per Day: 10-12
• Staffing:
  • Days: 2 Physicians & 2 APPs
  • Nights: 1 APP on site (with 1 Hospitalist physician on call)
• Shifts:
  • Days: 6a - 6p
  • Nights: 6p - 6a
  • 7-on/7-off schedule
• Procedures: Not required (ER physicians & Surgeon on site to assist)
• Respond to Codes: Yes  (ER physicians & Surgeon on site to assist)
• EMR: Meditech (version 6)
• Dictation: Dragon

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of post-grad Hospitalist experience
• ACNP or AGACNP Certification
• Nurse Practitioner Texas license (or eligible to obtain)
• DEA
• BLS & ACLS
