Job Highlights:
The Social Worker participates in the coordination of the patients' care participating in the interdisciplinary comprehensive assessment and development of the plan of care. The Social Worker works closely with the physician and the interdisciplinary team to execute the patients' plan of care. Works under the direction of the physician and nurse. Maintains compliance with policies, procedures, State and Federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education; or Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work.
- Licensed in the state of practice.
- One-year social work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current Drivers License and proof of automobile insurance.
