The Assistant Director of Clinical Services works under the Director to provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team. They are responsible for hiring of qualified hospice personnel: the provision of hospice services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations; and establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. The duties include but are not limited to:
- Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
- Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues
- Clinical policy and procedure support
- Assisting the Director in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies
- Monitoring implementation of correction plans
- A strong leader with impeccable organizational, strategic, analytical and project management skills.
- A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
- 5 years in healthcare industry preferred
- 2 years of experience working in Leadership
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice
