Job Title: Honor Bar Attendant
Reports to: Lodge Director
Department: The Lodge
Location: Union League Liberty Hill (800 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444)
Description:
Provide guests with a fully-stocked and well-maintained mini-bar on a consistent basis throughout their stay, while servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with Union League standards. This position also delivers amenities to guest rooms when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory all guest mini-bars on a daily basis and post the appropriate charges to the room prior to guest departure.
- Clean the mini-bars on a regular basis including the fridge drawer and surrounding spaces.
- Keep an accurate par of food items such as beverages and snacks, as well as non-food items like menu cards, napkins, wine and bottle openers, etc. on cart and in storage areas.
- Clean and maintain in-room private/mini-bars; report damage, or malfunctioning units.
- Check quality and expiration of all items; discard and replace according to established procedures.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
- Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.
Skills and Requirements:
- This position requires the ability to work the day shift and flex into other shifts when needed.
- Requires organization and flexibility and a problem-solving approach to all duties.
- Ability to be mobile for significant distances within building on the property.
- Requires proficiency in the English language.
- Ability to learn and use the point-of-sale system
- Ability to count and record accurately.
- Able to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours.
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work any day of the week.
