Position: Home Valuation Coordinator (Remote)
Responsibilities:
As a Home Valuation Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing our appraisal processes. Your duties will include:
- Coordinating the ordering, receiving, and reviewing of appraisals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all required documentation.
- Facilitating effective communication between appraisers and our processing staff, including Loan Processors and Operations Managers, as well as production staff like Division/Branch Managers and Loan Officers.
- Overseeing the management of all appraisal types across Conventional, USDA, FHA, and VA loan programs.
- Regularly monitoring appraisal status updates through our Connexion Dashboard.
- Addressing and managing any required revisions, corrections, or updates to appraisal reports.
- Maintaining up-to-date appraisal order details and ensuring reports are uploaded accurately to loans.
- Ensuring compliance with appraisal independence requirements and completing necessary certifications.
- Providing timely responses to inquiries in the general HVC email box, including processing VA appraisal procedures.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in mortgage or appraisal sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate appraisal requirements for various investors.
- Up-to-date understanding of mortgage production processes.
