Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.

- Provide hands-on therapy to improve patients' daily living skills, mobility, and independence.

- Implement therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications.

- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.

- Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing and adapting to their conditions, maximizing their independence and quality of life.

- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely.

- Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patients' evolving needs and goals.

- Stay up to date with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practice.

Requirements:

- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida.

- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a home health setting.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in documenting patient progress and treatment plans using electronic medical records (EMR).

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes.
