Home Health/Hospice LPN - Modified Full Time (72 hours every 2 weeks) - Regional Health Services of Howard County

POSITION SUMMARY: A licensed Practical Nurse who plans, organizes, and directs home care and hospice services according to physician treatment plan under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their homes and communities. The professional nurse may assist with public health programs under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

* This position is Modified Full Time, 72 hours every 2 weeks *

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Iowa.
3. Maintains a current CPR certification.
4. Two years of professional nursing experience desired, but not required.
5. Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
6. Appearance and personality appropriate to deal with clients, visitors, and related services agency personnel.
7. Valid driver's license and proof of motor vehicle insurance.
