Overview
The Home Health Aide/CNA will provide personal hygiene, grooming services, household care, and nutrition under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Community Health at Home Now Hiring Fulltime Home Health Aide/CNA - Service Area - Hamilton, Madison, Marion, Hancock Counties!
The Home Health Aide's role involves providing personal hygiene, grooming services, household care, and nutrition under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
+ Performs or assists patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, showering, oral hygiene, hair care, nail care, shaving, and dressing/undressing. Also, responsible for catheter care, emptying urinary catheters, bed pans, colostomy bags, and labeling urine specimens.
+ Performs and documents vitals. Other permissible duties under special circumstances where permitted by state regulation may include household duties, an understanding of necessary communication skills for the proper care of patients.
+ Obtains a minimum of 12 in-service hours per calendar year
+ Demonstrates sensitivity to patient and/or family needs, customs or feelings.
+ Arrives at the scheduled time for shifts and completes assigned tasks promptly.
+ Grooming and overall appearance is acceptable.
+ Completes and submits all required documentation in a timely manner.
+ Demonstrates sensitivity to patient and/or family needs, customs or feelings.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
+ Must be a high school graduate or hold an equivalent qualification.
+ Completion of 75, 120, or 150 hour Certified Nursing Assistant Program and must be on State C.N.A. Registry.
+ One year home health aide, patient tech or other related experience and/or passes CHI Health at Home’s competency evaluation program (Medicare regulation).
+ Must obtain and maintain CPR or BLS certified.
+ Successful completion of all competency testing.
+ Ability to understand written plans, execute instructions, and document services delivered.
Pay Range
$15.62 - $21.47 /hour
