Galaxy Home Care is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality home care services. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team and help us create a supportive work environment for our caregivers and staff.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for home care staff
· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
· Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts
· Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
· Provide training and development opportunities for staff
· Maintain employee records and HR databases
· Assist in performance management and evaluation processes
· Collaborate with management to create a positive workplace culture
Qualifications:
· Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
· 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in home care
· Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in New York and New York City
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
· Knowledge of HHAExchange is a HUGE plus
· Knowledge of other languages besides English is a HUGE plus
