SUMMARY
The intern will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams, participating in on-site visits, contributing to project documentation, and engaging in research to enhance their understanding of construction processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Support: Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and coordinating construction projects.
- Site Visits: Participate in on-site visits to gain practical insights into construction processes and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project success.
- Research: Conduct research on industry best practices, materials, and technologies to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
- Problem Solving: Engage in creative problem-solving to address challenges that may arise during the construction process.
- Learning and Development: Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge of construction management.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, etc.).
- Strong interest in construction and a desire to pursue a career in the industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (preferred).

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Construction Intern will be exposed to a dynamic work environment that includes both office and on-site settings. The intern may be required to visit construction sites, where exposure to varying weather conditions and construction-related hazards may occur. The office environment will involve regular use of computers and communication tools.
