Histotechnologist. - Azaaki Healthcare.

We are looking for a skilled Histotechnologist to join our team in a hospital or research laboratory. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in laboratory procedures, medical terminology, and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform histological procedures including specimen collection, processing, embedding, cutting, staining, and mounting.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment for tissue processing.
• Prepare reagents and solutions for laboratory techniques.
• Ensure compliance with quality control and safety procedures.
• Assist in training new staff on laboratory protocols.
• Collaborate with pathologists and healthcare professionals for accurate specimen analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL).
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of histology, pathology, and laboratory best practices.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule: 5x8, Night shift
