Histology Laboratory Supervisor - Staff Icons

Responsibilities :
Organizes, and staffs the work activities of the laboratory during each shift to provide laboratory services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications :

• Four (4) years' experience as a histology technician, 2 years' as a lead/supervisor histology technician and have ASCP certification as a histology technician.
• Computer skills: knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel); basic statistics skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.
• All applicants must submit to and pass a Color-Acuity screening Test.
• BS degree in science
• 8 years' as Histology Technician with 2 years' experience as lead histology tech/supervisor (preferred)
• HT or HTL ASCP certification
