About the Job
Job Duties:
Technicians
* Installing new lighting fixtures, ballasts, lamps, lighting controls and other related products
* Recycling old lighting fixtures, ballasts and lamps
* Maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness (including attending weekly safety meetings)
* Attending proactive (prior to start of job), reactive (on the job) trainings and certifications
* Communicating with Supervisors Daily
* Ensuring quality control for all items installed
* Assisting other Field Employees as necessary
* Always meeting job schedules, Communicating issues proactively
* Maintaining adherence to Company Policy and Handbook items
* Working with Supervisors on procuring materials, tools and equipment needed
* Travel Weekly (out of state every week)
* $13 - $25/hr. depending on experience
Skills Required
* (2) years Lighting Retrofit -or- Construction experience (preferred, not mandatory)
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Outlook proficient
* OSHA 10 Certified (preferred, company will provide upon hiring if not current)
* NALMCO Certified (preferred, company will provide upon hiring if not current)
* Scissor Lift Operator Certified (preferred, company will provide upon hiring if not current)
* Boom Lift Operator Certified (preferred, company will provide upon hiring if not current)

Apprentice’s
* Installation of lighting fixtures (interior and exterior)
* Installation of finish devices including receptacles, switches, equipment disconnects
* Raceway installation including EMT/PVC/GRC conduit, mc cable & NM “romex” cabling
* Grounding installation including wiring, rods and fittings
* Maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness (including attending weekly safety meetings)
* Communicating with Supervisors Daily
* Ensuring quality control for all items installed
* Assisting other Field Employees as necessary
* Always meeting job schedules, Communicating issues proactively
* Maintaining adherence to Company Policy and Handbook items
* Working with Supervisors on procuring materials, tools and equipment needed
* Travel as required
* $15 - $25/hr. Depending on experience
Skills Required
* (2) years Electrical -or- Construction experience preferred
* High school diploma or GED equivalent

Journeyman

* Ability to read, decipher and install from blueprints
* NEC Code knowledgeable
* Troubleshooting
* Circuitry installation and terminating
* Routing and installing feeder conduit/wiring
* Panel, Transformer and Equipment Disconnect/Starter installation and termination
* Motor Controls wiring and terminating
* Lighting Controls System installation and wiring
* Fire Alarm System installation and wiring
* Tele data installation and wiring
* Security System installation and wiring
* Equipment and Tools Operation
* $25 - $45/hr. Depending on experience
Skills Required
* All items listed above for apprentice's
* Fire Alarm License
* OSHA 30 Certified (preferred, company will provide upon hiring if not current)
