Pay Rate: $23.50

The CNA will provide essential daily care to our residents, assisting them with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Job Summary:

The CNA will provide essential daily care to our residents, assisting them with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to care for others, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition to the nursing staff.
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers, using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized resident environment, including making beds and changing linens.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Answer call lights promptly and address resident needs.
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Document care provided as directed.
- Qualifications:
- Current and valid CNA certification in PA.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform required duties, including lifting and transferring residents.
