About the Job
We are Maximus Insurance Brokerage. We have offices in Flushing Queens & Sunset Park Brooklyn. We specialize in Commercial Lines, Transportation & Construction Insurance Sales as well as TLC, Business, Home, and Auto Insurance. We are looking for Driven & Motivated Bilingual Chinese or Mandarin speaking Agency Manager with three to five years of Commercial Line Sales and Agency Management experience and Licensed Property & Casualty Commercial Line Producers with at least one year of P&C Insurance Sales experience. Must have Leadership, Negotiation, and Relationship Building skills.

Your Day to Day:
- Maintain and maximize profitable relationships with clients and growing the book of business through new client sales.
- Maintain solid customer relationships by handling customer inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism through daily interaction with customers, insurance carriers, and fellow employees while conducting specific service and marketing activities.
- Issue quotes, maintain client records and prepare reports
- Assess client needs and promote suitable insurance products
- Track insurance claims to insure client and company satisfaction
- Develop the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and expertise.
- Identify, qualify, and develop insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
- Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention and maintain strong client relationships.
- Review client audits, verify and facilitate corrections as needed and maintain A/R and billing.
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotation, and general account support. Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.
Qualifications:
- NY Property and Casualty Insurance License is required.
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese/English speaking preferable for Agency Manager position.
- 3-5 years of Commercial Sales and Agency Management experience
- 1-3 years of Construction & Commercial Insurance sales experience
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base.
- Proven track record of business-to-business sales success. Possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales.
- Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients.
- Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making and superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to commute/relocate: Flushing, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment and Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
