Today we are hiring A Nuclear Medicine Technologist In Torrance, CA.

$5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The nuclear Medicine technologist provides health care services using radio nuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment. He/she has the advanced skills to perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, computer processing of data and other technical tasks necessary to produce images for the interpretation by, and at the request of a licensed practitioner. He/she exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while providing appropriate care essential for successful completion of procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire. Or
• National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 6 months of experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program).
