Highway Design Engineer - Insight Global

Insight Global is seeking a Design Engineer or a Design Project Manager to join an engineering and construction services company located in North Haven, CT. They would be on projects including transportation; land development; urban infill and redevelopment; municipal infrastructure and community projects; green infrastructure; renewable energy; educational facilities; climate resiliency; and more.

Under the general direction of our New England Region Manager, you will lead an outstanding staff while you plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to multiple transportation, site/civil, and infrastructure projects. You will take the lead during proposal development, design, permitting, and construction administration for an array of transportation, site development, infrastructure, and community projects; mentor and train less experienced engineers; prepare permit applications and meet with permitting agencies; present at public hearings; and manage project design teams. You will support business development and staff recruitment activities and maintain positive client relationships.

Onsite in North Haven, CT

Salary Range: $100K-$200K

-5+ years of experience in design related roles

-Bridge and Highway design experience

-Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD

-CT DOT Experience
