Description
The Retail Supervisor (RS) is responsible for all retail systems and protocols of HWY are implemented and maintained, ensuring operational excellence. The RS should maintain a store presence on a
full-time basis, and focus on facilitating the fluid functioning and communication of all of HWY's
various departments. The RS acts as the immediate assistant/GM backup and is at the forefront of
setting the example of how to be professional as a HWY staff member.
Hours of Position: 3pm-10:30p Friday through Monday
Prerequisite:
Be acquainted with all of the systems and procedures, including but not
limited to:
- Dutchie (POS)
- iSolved (HRIS)
- All SOPs and Policies
- All retail-specific documents used daily/ weekly in retail operations
- Training including:
- Subsequent documents
- PowerPoint presentations
- Test modules.
- Microsoft Office
Requirements
- Main Duties:
- Manage and mentor the following positions directly:
- Cannabis Consultants
- Security Guards
- This includes oversight of their duties, as well as 1:1 interactions,
disciplinary actions, training, etc.
- Retail employee training
- Develop and maintain a retail training curriculum
- Ensure all employees on-site receive yearly safety training
- Publish the retail schedule no less than 2 weeks in advance
- Cash management
- Salesfloor organization
Sub-Duties:
- Develop and implementation of new systems or adjustments to current systems.
- Creation and organizing of pertaining SOPs/instructionals
- Hiring and termination of employees.
- Interviewing/vetting
- Conduct Preliminary and 6mo. Performance Reviews with all current staff
- Compiling all completed (by staff) reviews.
- Condensing, adding personal-professional opinions.
- Monitor Sales orders for standards, accuracy, and payment discrepancies.
- Monitoring Debit/ Credit discrepancy logs
- Monitoring gross sales and promotional performance
- Online Reviews
- Enforcing proper channels of communication between staff and departments.
- Field questions employees may have about policies, day-to-day issues that arise,
general company needs, customer issues complaints, necessary structural changes to
the floor, schedule or company policy. - Conduct and attend employee meetings, bi-weekly and monthly team meetings.
- Maintain standards of cleanliness in the building.
- Facilitate the monthly contractor visits and service providers.

Management experience is required
- Sales experience a plus
Cannabis experience preferred
Excellent cash handling
