About the Role: Project Director - Higher Education
As a Project Director, you'll lead the way in managing customer deployments within the Higher Education vertical. Your role is pivotal, providing leadership and oversight for strategic deployments, managing customer relationships, establishing project governance, and ensuring clear communication within.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, including primed and partner primed projects
Oversee budget, timeline, scope, and risks for the assigned portfolio
Act as a trusted advisor to customer executives, participating in Steering Committee meetings
Collaborate with Resource Management and Consulting Managers to assemble project teams
Assist with sales by providing expertise on deployment approaches and staffing plans
Conduct project assessments and provide advisory services on strategic projects
Lead internal initiatives supporting practice development
Mentor Engagement Managers, offering continuous coaching on methodology and processes
About You:
Basic Qualifications:
Experience working with clients in Higher Education and/or Nonprofit sectors
10+ years of professional services experience
5+ years of experience with multiple Cloud/SaaS ERP business areas (HCM, Payroll, Planning, Financials, SIS)
Other Qualifications:
Expertise in building trust and influencing at the C-level
Familiarity with project methodology and Product Suite highly preferred
Project Management experience
Ability to navigate highly matrixed environments
Excellent organizational, mentoring, and communication skills
Passion for customer success
Willingness to travel 50% or more of the time
