Required Skills & Experience

-Preferably coming from a robotics background or working with environmental chambers

-Ability to use JIRA to read ticket requests

-Experience with fabrication (preferably with 80/20 framing)

-Electrical debugging and troubleshooting knowledge

-Mechanically inclined

-Proficient in using LabVIEW, Python, or PCAN

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience with CAD/SolidWorks -Experience with Reliability Testing -Experience with Instrumentation and Data Acquisition (DAQ)

Job Description

Insight Global is sourcing HV Engineering Technicians to join on of our largest automotive clients in the Bay Area. This person will be working onsite five days a week in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate is coming from a background in Power Electronics such as EV Power Conversion systems, EV charge handles/cables, HV Battery devices, HV Battery Electronics testing. This role can pay between $32-$45/hour depending on skillset and years of experience.

Compensation:

$32/hr to $45/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
