About the Job
BSWH is expanding its Hematology and Cellular Therapy Division, and we are seeking aHematologist-Medical Oncologist with interest in benign and malignant hematology and sickle cell disease to join our outstanding BSWH Facility in Temple, Texas. The practice is supported by 9 physicians, 3 APP's, Nurse and Clerical team. Highlights of the role:
- Opportunity for academic appointment with Baylor College of Medicine- Temple.
- Three-year hematology/oncology fellowship program
- Internal Medicine Residency
- Majority of the role is outpatient with inpatient primary service and inpatient consult service split amongst the group throughout the year; averaging 2-3 times per year for each service.
- Shift/Schedule - fulltime, 1.0 fte.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with 1 admin half-day.
- Call only when on inpatient service - fellow takes first call.
- No weekends on consult services.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
- Board-Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology from ACGME accredited program
