Hematologist - BMT at Indiana's Top Ranked Health System at MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society

IU Health is seeking a patient-focused Hematologist with a focus on adult malignancies to join our academic and clinical practice in the Indianapolis area. Practice will include our academic hospital downtown, our Simon Cancer Center, and a few other locations in our popular suburbs. This is a clinical opportunity with academic components.

• Malignant Hematology
• 55% Clinical and 45% Academic
• Academic practice with focus on clinical care, research and education.
• Practice comprised of hematology/oncology subspecialists focusing on 13 disease-focused programs.
• Leadership opportunity is available if a qualified applicant is identified.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent judgment in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan.
• Oversee the team and residents/medical students in all aspects of their assigned duties.
• Provide medical education and multidisciplinary team coordination services.
• Participate in clinical research projects of interest in cooperation with the medical research department.

• Must be BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology.
