Our client in higher education is seeking a Helpdesk Specialist with a focus on IT-Print Support and Network Administration to work a 6-month contract assignment (onsite) in Huntsville, AL. The Helpdesk Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be highly knowledgeable of Microsoft M365/O365, Active Directory, and Identity and Access Management (IDA) as well as IT Print Solutions and support. This position will involve working on-site daily supporting the staff with the school system.

- Administer and maintain the Microsoft M365/O365 environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and permissions.
- Implement and maintain Identity and Access Management (IDA) solutions to enhance network security and user authentication.
- Collaborate with the existing Network Administrator to ensure seamless network operations.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing network-related concerns promptly and effectively.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and improvements.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Proven experience in network administration, preferably in an educational or similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft M365/O365, Active Directory, and Identity and Access Management (IDA).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to network infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and end-users.
- Ability to work on-site daily at the BCS location.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the school system.
