Position: Help Desk Technician
Location: District of Columbia - Fully Onsite 5 Days a Week

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous and efficient technical support to all employees across the organization.
- Utilize the ServiceDesk (ManageEngine) ticketing system to manage and prioritize incoming support requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 technical issues including password resets, email configuration (O365), and basic cloud platform support (Azure or equivalent).
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
- Document support activities, resolutions, and processes for future reference.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary technical resources and support.
Required Skills:
- Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner.
- Help Desk Ticketing System Management: Proficiency in using ServiceDesk (ManageEngine) or similar ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and resolve support requests.
- Tier 1 Technical Support: Experience in providing Tier 1 technical support, including password resets, email configuration (O365), and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
- Experience with Active Directory management.
- Certification(s) in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is advantageous but not required.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
