Join one of the Fastest Growing Lease Purchase / Rent to Own Company in America – Buddy’s Home Furnishings is the third largest Rent-To-Own (“RTO”) furniture, appliance, electronic and computer provider in the United States. Over the past five years, Buddy’s has aggressively expanded its footprint by adding new company-owned and franchised stores outside of its home area. Currently, Buddy’s has more than 300 locations operating in the U.S. and Guam. The Company plans to continue this rapid growth over the next several years by opening new company-owned stores, acquiring independently operated RTO stores and franchising stores.
This position involves projects and/or assignments requiring considerable decision-making authority regarding procedures, plans, and schedules. Although there are sometimes problem-solving guidelines available for particular problems, there may not be existing procedures or instructions for those problems. The incumbent is on their own in solving problems and determining satisfactory solutions. Ability to work independently or in a team setting is necessary.
Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
* Effectively, professionally, and respectfully supports the end user client community.
* Provide support for all Information Technology products and services. Support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing customers regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicating policy. Additionally, it may involve troubleshooting printer issues, networking issues and resolving difficulties with Versirent.
* Determines the most effective manner to resolve client's technical issue. Engages in research and in-depth troubleshooting to resolve technical issues. Consults with Tier 2-3 staff when necessary.
* Records required customer and problem information in the OTRS Call Ticket System. Updates tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities, and closes tickets with resolution entered upon completion of the job.
* Resolves Level 1 work orders. Elevates complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support groups for resolution upon approval to elevate from those groups.
* Verifies that suggested solutions effectively resolve the users' problems through verbal or email follow up.
* Works on Tier 1 related projects as assigned by supervisor.
Prior experience as help desk, IT support, technical support, support technician, Support Specialist, Customer Service Representative, Field Service Technician, Application Support Analyst and experience with systems such as Zendesk, Salesforce, Jira, Zoho, Freshdesk, help scout, and other call tracking system is highly desirable.

* Familiarity with a wide range of standard office automation products is a must.
* High energy level.
* Detail oriented.
* Must have a good command of the English language in order to provide effective phone, desk-side, and email support.
