Help Desk Technician - Gothic Landscape, Inc.

Are you our next great Help Desk Technician?

The ideal Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing excellent day-to-day technical support to our internal customers while maintaining a positive solution focused mindset. The candidate will be responsible for installing applications, configuring computers, setting up mobile devices, troubleshooting Windows OS and other relevant technology suites. The candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and will take ownership of all assigned tasks and issues.

Highlights of what our Help Desk Technician will do:

• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult technical issues with limited information.
• Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
• Maintains and supports enterprise resources, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones and other network enabled devices.
• Monitor, respond and resolve incidents in our Zendesk Ticketing system while ensuring SLA performance metrics are met.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 operating system.
• Limited experience with identifying phishing email and malware using various cybersecurity tools.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, Exchange and File Administration.
• Comfortable replacing hard drives, memory and other computer components.
• Onboarding / offboarding users.
• Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
• Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
• Provide support for multiple locations.
• Remote site visits may also include overnight stay.
• Installing, moving, equipment that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Some night, weekend support and out of state travel.

*Skills & experience that are necessary as a Help Desk Technician will include, but not limited to:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of relevant help desk support experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related field (preferred)
• Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
