Help Desk Technician - Corporate Office - Highway 6 - Sugarland, TX (Sugarland, TX) - Wendys

Reports to: Director, Information Technology – HAZA Foods

FLSA Status: Non Exempt

Summary/Objective 

This position will have experience providing support for software, hardware and networking related issues in a help desk/technical support environment, superior customer service & troubleshooting skills. In addition, candidates will also have Point-of-Sale (POS) technical support experience OR restaurant industry knowledge/background with hands-on, "user-level" POS experience.

Essential Functions

• Requires excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated customer-focused, service-first approach
• At least 2-3+ years of technical support/help desk support experience is required
• Experience working in the Restaurant industry and/or experience providing POS (Point-of Sale) technical support for restaurants
• Aloha POS experience is a major plus
• Must be technically savvy with a strong overall technical aptitude and superior customer service skills
• Requires strong skills and proficiency level in troubleshooting, support, analysis and resolution
• Experience supporting external end-users with software, hardware and networking related issues
• Knowledge of networking topologies and computer operating systems
• Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office programs

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in technical field or four years' experience.
• Two years' relevant experience.
• Experience in a customer service-related capacity.
