Pipe Support Engineer (NASA) at Johnson Service Group

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for a, Senior Pipe Support Engineer , for a 12-month contract assignment supporting the Mobile Launcher II project at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL. This role offers a W2 hourly base rate with time and a half for overtime, per diem, and mobilization / demobilization. Our client is targeting $85.00/hour for this role.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Project Overview:
Located at Kennedy Space Center, the Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2) Project is the design and construction of a launch platform for NASA to provide an advanced launch vehicle that will fill America’s need for deep space missions.

Responsibilities:

• Locating and designing supports for various piping systems and performing associated calculations.
• Work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.
