Help Desk / Applications Support Analyst
Primary responsibilities:
- Technically savvy, be able to understand the system’s functionalities, have excellent communication skills and patience to explain how the new system operates.
- Demonstrated experience to assist system users via a dedicated Help Desk email account and telephone line
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, perform requirements analysis, and diagram business process models when necessary.
- Possess the ability to perform technical research and have solid analytical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Assist in coordinating the rollout of the ECIS system deploying over 400 Client Based community based Pre-K facilities.
- Provide assistance with Security Administration, creating new accesses following the proper security protocol to ensure the right Security Role access is assigned and requester has the proper authorization for access and provide maintenance by re-setting and deleting of User Names and Passwords.
- Assist SDE and the ECIS Project Team in planning technology deliverables that maximize the benefit of SDE and BEST shared services.
- Work with Clients staff, SDE developers and facility contacts and stakeholders to provide direction and problem resolution to any/all issues reported.
- Manage day to day tasks and be the liaison between SDE and Early Childhood facilities.
- Open Footprints (Incident tracking system) tickets with the facilities following protocol established by SDE and following up to closure. Track the amount of assistance being provided, follow-up with individuals when questions require further analysis and be diligent at keeping good notes to determine trends and recommend enhancements.
- Present ECIS information at School Readiness meetings or through WebEx Webinars user group meetings to provide updates and training.
- Create Camtasia recordings which will be used for facilitating training to the facilities.
- Coordinate global communications with the Communication Manager.
- Track the rollout progress and keep the Team informed of progress.
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree is required
