G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Heavy Truck Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator to join its team in Passaic, NJ.
As a Heavy Truck Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy trucks manual transmission, forklifts, and other utility equipment to transport, load, and unload materials and supplies. You’ll work closely with our operations team to ensure timely delivery and efficient handling of equipment.
Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class A CDL trucks, forklifts, and other heavy machinery
- Load and unload equipment and materials, ensuring proper handling and safety
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in transporting equipment
- Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient operations
- Assist with maintaining inventory and organizing materials as needed
- Follow all DOT and company guidelines for transporting loads
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record manual transmission and airbrake endorsement
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy trucks and forklifts
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and equipment handling
- Ability to operate utility equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
