Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 (Depending on Experience)

Position Overview: The Heavy Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in our construction projects, utilizing their expertise to operate various types of heavy machinery. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in operating earth-moving equipment and must be known for their reliability, precision, and commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow project specifications to complete tasks such as grading, excavation, and material handling.
- Collaborate with the construction team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to minimize accidents and injuries.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to identify and address any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including fuel usage, hours worked, and tasks completed.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean and organized.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment, particularly earth-moving machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Dependable and punctual with a commitment to meeting project deadlines.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills.
