About the Job
Operates a variety of light and heavy equipment to support the facilities and grounds of the CCAA in a safe and efficient manner: operates a concrete cutting saw, Bobcat forestry cutter, bush hog, backhoe, John Deere zero turn mower and front deck mower, forklifts and hand trucks, dump truck and flatbed trucks, excavators and other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions; and performs preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operations and long-life cycle of equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Requires the level of formal education typically acquired by completion of post high school vocational course work or technical training leading to a certificate in equipment maintenance or related discipline.
- Requires moderate vocational experience. Involves knowledge and comprehension of techniques, information, methods, procedures, which are related to specific jobs such as an equipment operator and which can be acquired from some combination of vocational training, apprentice training, on the job training, or essential experience in lower-level jobs during a period of up to 2 years.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Requires a valid Driver’s License. CDL A License preferred, but not required. Forklift Operators certification preferred.
