- Safely and skillfully operate heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, skid steers, foundation drills, and pile driving equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with crew members, field employees, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and with high-quality standards.
- Travel as required for projects and work overtime or weekends when needed.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years operating heavy equipment, including excavators (30-ton class or larger).
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid TWIC card and driver's license required.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
