About the Job
SBR Underground in Omaha, NE is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a full-time General Laborer. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday 7am to 5pm with some overtime and weekends. Candidates must complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Employees in this position perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. This may include operating hand and power tools of all types, cleaning and preparing job sites, digging trenches, setting braces to support the sides of excavations, erecting scaffolding, cleaning up waste materials, and assisting other craft workers.
Pay Rate: $24 and up per hour based on experience
Position:
- Heavy Equipment Operator-2 yrs. Experience Preferred
Job Duties:
- A Heavy Equipment Operator performs a variety of skilled duties associated with the operation of multiple types of heavy equipment in a construction environment. This includes operating all equipment in compliance with the company’s safety policies and procedures. Our Heavy Equipment Operators also ensure that company equipment, materials and the work site are maintained, kept clean and stored in a safe manner.

- Motor grader
- Track loader
- Compaction equipment
- Trimmers
- Tractor Disk
Environmental Working Conditions
- All work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather.
- Exposure to all elements of nature
- Exposure to all types of terrain
- Exposure to loud noise
- Exposure to fumes, odors, gasses, dusts, etc.
- Work in close proximity to heavy traffic
Physical Requirements
- Standing
- Walking
- Climbing, stooping and bending
- Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds
- Duties may require working from heights
