Job Details:
- Heavy equipment operators are responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery specifically used in civil construction projects.
- 5 years experience with operating heavy equipment: Safely and efficiently operating machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, and compactors to perform tasks like digging, grading, leveling, and compacting surfaces.
- Safety protocols: Adhering to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment for oneself and others on the construction site.
- Material handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting materials using appropriate equipment, such as moving soil, rocks, and construction materials.
- Site preparation: Assisting in site preparation activities, including clearing land, excavating trenches, and preparing the ground for construction and utility installation.
- Collaboration and communication: Working closely with other team members, supervisors, and contractors to ensure efficient workflow, coordination, and completion of the project.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents or accidents that occur on the job site.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Tacoma or Seattle WA: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required).

- Heavy Equipment Operator: 5 years (Preferred).
