AIM World Services is seeking Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanics to support the US Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP V) and the Airbase Runway Rebuild project on Tinian Island, in the Northern Mariana Islands. Tinian Island is north of Guam in the Pacific Ocean. The Mechanic will maintain special-purpose heavy construction equipment originally manufactured in Europe and Japan.
This position is open to US Nationals. US Citizenship is required.

AIM World Services is seeking Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanics to support the US Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP V) and the Airbase Runway Rebuild project on Tinian Island, in the Northern Mariana Islands. Tinian Island is north of Guam in the Pacific Ocean. The Mechanic will maintain special-purpose heavy construction equipment originally manufactured in Europe and Japan.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Uses existing maintenance shop and field facilities to repair and maintain heavy construction equipment.
- Works assigned tasks based on general work schedules, work methods, and Project work policies.
- Receives technical direction and help in accomplishing challenging work steps and processes, as needed.
- Accomplishes specific Heavy Construction Equipment maintenance and repair tasks as directed by Shop Foreman and Maintenance Supervisor.
- Meets performance expectations as required.
- Complies with security directives, safety standards, and best maintenance practices in all work areas
- Disposes of hazardous material waste in accordance with all local and federal environmental standards and regulations.
- Maintains personal and Company property accountability, and tool control.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, General Education Diploma, or equivalent formal education.
- 5 years’ experience maintaining heavy equipment mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems evaluation, maintenance, and repair.
- Must have excellent mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Understands and follows manufacturer’s technical publications, schematics, and parts manuals.
- Must be able to work in all kinds of weather, including extreme heat and humidity.
- Must have knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of trade(s) and/or craft(s) supervised and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and /or test equipment common to trades supervised.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.
- Able to self-organize work and determine resources required to accomplish maintenance tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.
- US Citizenship, valid US Passport and valid US Driver's License required.
- Must be able to pass a background check, medical exam, and drug screen.
- Additional job-related ASE training and certification.
- Previous Military Supervisory experience in Heavy Construction Equipment maintenance.
- Operator License for Support Equipment such as Forklift and RTCH.
