About this Role
Brink Constructors, Inc.
Help maintenance and repair workers in maintenance, parts replacement, and repair of vehicles and equipment. Perform duties such as furnishing tools, materials, and supplies to other workers, cleaning work area, machines, and tools, and holding materials or tools for other workers.
Pay: This is a non-exempt hourly role. The pay range is $20 - $40 per hour
What You'll Do
- Provide general assistance around the shop
- Assist with shop loading and preparation as needed
- Clean and maintain equipment as directed
- Make sure workers have the tools necessary to complete their assigned tasks
- Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas.
- Disassemble broken or defective equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble equipment when repairs are complete.
- Hold or supply tools, parts, equipment, and supplies for other workers.
- Operate Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment — Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, passenger vehicles, aircraft, or water craft.
- Communicate with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Get Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Move materials, equipment, or supplies.
- Order materials, supplies, or equipment as directed
- Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear.
What You'll Bring
REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid, Active Driver's License Required
PREFERRED:
- Diploma from accredited diesel technician program preferred
